Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional, teachers aide, or classroom assistant preferred

• Strong communication and collaborative skills, both with students and fellow staff
• Ability to follow individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention strategies
• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certification or college coursework is an asset

What Youll Do:

• Assist classroom teachers with lesson activities, classroom management, and student supervision
• Offer one-on-one or small group academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support
• Help facilitate a positive, respectful classroom atmosphere
• Support students with special needs in accordance with IEPs and teacher direction
• Assist in modifying learning materials or adapting lessons as needed
• Supervise students during arrival, dismissal, lunch, and recess periods
• Contribute to record-keeping and progress monitoring as directed
