Job Description

This opportunity is for four paraprofessionals to support students in an elementary school setting within a Title 1 designated school building. The role requires working weekdays with a full-time equivalent schedule of 32.5 hours per week. The schedule aligns closely with the academic day, beginning with student arrival at 8:05 a.m. and concluding at dismissal at 3:05 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist classroom teachers in managing student activities and supporting individual learning needs.
  • Provide direct instructional support to students to enhance educational outcomes.
  • Help maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with school staff to implement student support plans.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold an associate degree, or equivalent college credits, or possess a para 2 certification issued by the state.
  • Ability to provide three professional references, including two supervisors.
  • Experience or interest in special education or working with diverse student populations is beneficial.

Location:

  • The position is based in Hampton, NH, serving an elementary school within the Dover area.
  • Contract duration runs immediately through June 15, 2026.
