Job Description
Support an elementary classroom in the Belvidere, NJ area as an ABA Paraprofessional providing one-on-one assistance to a first-grade student. This contract position requires dedication to special education needs and offers a structured schedule with competitive benefits.
Location:
- Belvidere, NJ Elementary school setting
- 32.5 hours per week
- Contract through 06/30/2026 with an immediate start
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver ABA para support within the classroom environment
- Provide consistent 1:1 assistance to support the individual learning and behavioral needs of the student
- Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to implement tailored educational plans
- Monitor progress and assist in classroom management to promote a positive learning experience
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a paraprofessional in a K-12 special education program
- Proven ability to work effectively with children requiring specialized ABA support
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
