Job Description

A K-12 paraprofessional opportunity is available in Gypsum, CO, supporting students primarily with autism. This position is part of a contract for the current school year, working within schools serving a diverse student population.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in classroom management and instructional support.
  • Provide individualized attention to students with autism to support their learning and social development.
  • Help implement educational plans and strategies tailored to meet student needs.
  • Monitor student progress and communicate with teaching staff about student performance.
  • Support classroom activities and routines to foster a productive learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with students in K-12 settings, preferably with a focus on autism or special education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educators and staff to support student success.
  • Reliable and professional with a positive attitude toward supporting students educational growth.

Location & Schedule:

  • Position is based in Gypsum, CO.
  • Work is spread between Berry Creek Middle School and Eagle Valley High School.
  • Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, totaling 35 hours per week.
