This contract role involves working closely with students with Level 3 Autism, requiring patience, empathy, and a commitment to providing individualized support in a dynamic educational environment. Two Paraprofessionals are needed for a vibrant school community, offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week.

Key Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Paraprofessional or similar support position within a school setting preferred
• Confidence and compassion working with students diagnosed with Level 3 Autism or providing behavioral support to students with significant needs
• Ability to remain calm, resourceful, and positive in situations involving behavioral or emotional intensity
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families
• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications a plus
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students to facilitate engagement and success throughout their school day
• Implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals and behavior intervention strategies under the guidance of certified staff
• Assist students with academic, social, and daily living activities as needed
• Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
• Track and document student progress and behaviors, communicating updates as necessary
