Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Experience as a paraprofessional or classroom aide preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly in diverse classroom settings
• Strong communication skills and a patient, encouraging attitude
• Fundamental understanding of supporting students with diverse learning needs
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, specialists, and fellow support staff
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional related coursework or certifications a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Support classroom instruction and assist lead teachers as needed
• Work with individual students or small groups for academic reinforcement or behavioral support
• Aid with classroom management, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment
• Provide support to students with special needs in both academic and non-academic activities
• Maintain accurate, confidential records of student progress and incidents
• Adapt to various assignments as a float paraprofessional, filling in where support is most needed throughout the school
