Qualifications and skills desired:

• Experience working with children or students in an educational setting
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with teachers and staff
• Patience, empathy, and dedication to supporting diverse learners
• Ability to assist with classroom management and organization
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification is a plus

Primary responsibilities:

• Provide instructional support to students under the direction of classroom teachers
• Assist with implementing lesson plans, classroom activities, and individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all students
• Support students with classroom transitions, assignments, and reinforcing learning concepts
• Help monitor student progress and document observations as needed
• Encourage social, emotional, and academic growth by building rapport with students
