Job Description

Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students in a vibrant educational setting near Glendale Heights, IL. Were seeking two dedicated Paraprofessionals for immediate placement at the elementary level, with openings available at both Reskin and Black Hawk sites. As an Inclusion Para, you'll help foster a supportive environment across K-5th grade, directly impacting students daily successes.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois Paraprofessional License required
  • Strong experience supporting students across grade levels (K-5)
  • Confidence and compassion when assisting with toileting if needed
  • Previous background working in inclusive classroom settings is a major plus
  • Comfortable adapting to new environments and collaborative with teaching staff
  • Clear criminal background, as required by district policy
  • Reliable transportation for a consistent onsite presence

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist lead teachers in facilitating classroom activities and individualized instruction
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students in inclusive settings
  • Assist students with personal care needs, including toileting, when necessary
  • Promote a positive, welcoming atmosphere conducive to learning and development
  • Monitor student progress and communicate observations to the instructional team
  • Foster participation and engagement among all students
  • Maintain patience and empathy in every interaction

Additional Details:

  • Full-time onsite schedule: 35 hours per week, MondayFriday (8:15 am3:45 pm, 30-minute unpaid lunch daily)
  • Contract runs from ASAP through May 24, 2027
  • Two openings available; immediate start desired
  • Candidates should be comfortable with any grade level and fully cleared on background checks
