This contract opportunity, located near Gilbert, AZ, places you in an elementary school environment where youll work alongside dedicated teachers and make a direct impact on students' daily experiencesespecially those with Autism. The position follows a straightforward Monday through Friday schedule, from 8am to 4pm, allowing you to work closely within a supportive school community.
Your responsibilities will include collaborating with classroom teachers, providing essential assistance to students with special needs, and fostering an inclusive learning atmosphere. Qualifications for success in this opportunity include:
- Possession of a current IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Active, full paraprofessional certification in Arizona
- Previous experience assisting teachers or working in classroom settings, particularly with students with Autism
- A patient and adaptable approach to working with children in elementary grades
- Excellent teamwork skills and a collaborative spirit
Key responsibilities:
- Assist elementary teachers with classroom management and lesson support
- Work closely with students requiring additional guidance, including those with Autism
- Participate in classroom activities and help ensure a positive learning environment
- Support teachers in implementing instructional and behavioral strategies
