Qualifications and Experience:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting is highly preferred
• Ability to build rapport with students and collaborate effectively with teachers and staff
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for helping students succeed
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional relevant certifications are a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers with instructional support and classroom management
• Work directly with students, individually and in small groups, to reinforce lesson material and encourage engagement
• Help implement accommodations or modifications as directed by educational plans
• Supervise students during activities, lunch, and transitions to ensure safety and positive behavior
• Support a respectful, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
• Perform other duties as assigned to promote student success
