Sunbelt is partnering with a school district in the Gardner, Maine area that is hiring a full-time Educational Technician for the upcoming school year. This is a school-based role focused on supporting students in the classroom through academic guidance, behavior support, and daily learning assistance.
In this position, you will be part of the classroom team helping students stay engaged, follow routines, and access instruction in a meaningful way. Youll work directly with teachers and staff to support both individual students and small groups throughout the school day.
What this role looks like day-to-day:
Supporting classroom instruction and student learning activities
Assisting students with behavior needs and providing positive redirection
Working with students in both 1:1 and small group settings
Reinforcing lessons, routines, and classroom expectations
Helping maintain a structured and supportive learning environment
What you need to qualify:
Active Maine Educational Technician (Ed Tech) license required
Experience working with children or in a school setting preferred but not required
Ability to support students with academic and behavioral needs
Strong communication skills and a dependable, team-first mindset
