Paraprofessional Opportunity | Flint, Michigan | 2026-2027 School Year
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking dedicated Paraprofessionals for full-time school-based opportunities in the Flint, Michigan area for the 2026-2027 school year. These positions offer the opportunity to make a meaningful impact supporting students across a variety of educational settings and grade levels.
Position Details
- Full-Time: 37.5 hours per week
- School Year: ASAP Start through June 11, 2027
- Location: Flint area, MI (post near Grand Blanc, MI)
- Schedule may vary based on building assignment:
- 7:15 AM - 3:15 PM
- 8:15 AM - 4:15 PM
- Virtual interviews available
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 student support in educational settings
- Assist students with academic, behavioral, and functional needs
- Support students in:
- Resource classrooms
- Self-contained classrooms
- General education classrooms
- Programs serving students with cognitive and emotional impairments
- Assist with personal care needs, including toileting and diapering when required
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student success
Qualifications
Candidates must meet ONE of the following requirements:
- Minimum of 60 semester hours of college credit (official transcripts required)
- Associate's degree or higher
- ETS Parapro Assessment score of 460 or higher
- SAT score of:
- 480+ Evidence-Based Reading & Writing
- 530+ Math
Official transcripts or qualifying documentation must be provided prior to district presentation.
