Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience working with children or students in an educational or care setting
• Ability to follow educational plans and adapt to different learning needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility, patience, and reliability in a fast-paced classroom setting
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional academic coursework or certification in education is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in delivering classroom instruction and managing classroom activities
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with academic, behavioral, or physical needs
• Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) under teacher guidance
• Monitor student progress and communicate observations to teachers
• Support students with mobility or personal needs as required
• Foster a safe and positive environment that encourages participation and learning
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as requested
