Desired Qualifications:

• Experience assisting or working with children in a classroom or educational setting
• Ability to collaborate well with teachers, support staff, and students
• Strong communication skills and adaptability to dynamic environments
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support student learning and growth
• High school diploma or equivalent (additional training or credentials preferred)
• Familiarity with special education or individualized support plans is an asset

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional and behavioral support to students, individually or in small groups
• Assist classroom teachers with lesson preparation and organization
• Encourage and motivate students to participate and engage in class activities
• Implement accommodations per student needs or education plans under teacher guidance
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive class atmosphere
• Monitor student progress and report observations to teachers or school staff
• Supervise students during transitions, lunch, recess, or other activities as needed
