Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Prior experience working with children or in a school environment is highly valued
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or paraprofessional certification preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow lesson plans and provide guidance while fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere
• Reliable, flexible, and able to collaborate as part of a team
• Comfortable assisting students with special needs or adapting support to diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers in instructional activities and managing daily classroom functions
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as directed
• Help maintain an organized, safe, and nurturing learning environment
• Participate in the implementation of individual education programs (IEPs) as needed
• Support teachers with classroom materials, behavior management, and supervision during activities
• Encourage student engagement, independence, and growth both academically and socially
