Educational Assistants / Paraprofessionals (Contract to Hire) El Prado, NM
An exciting opportunity is available for dedicated Educational Assistants and Paraprofessionals certified as Level 3 Educational Assistants or Substitutes for the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time position (32-37 hours/week) offers a blend of in-person and virtual environments, supporting students with diverse needs, including those requiring ABA therapy and behavior interventions under the guidance of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instructional support to students in classrooms
- Assist with behavior management and implementation of ABA strategies
- Support virtual and in-person learning activities
- Collaborate with teachers and therapists to enhance student learning experiences
- Adapt to varying behavioral needs of students with professionalism and patience
Qualifications:
- Certified Level 3 Educational Assistant or Substitute; applicants in the process of obtaining certification are encouraged to apply
- Experience or interest in working as a Paraprofessional, ABA Therapist, or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
- Ability to work full-time hours (32-37 per week) and commit to the 2025-2026 school year
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable participating in both in-person and virtual interviews and facilitation activities
