Step into a rewarding full-time role supporting students as a Paraprofessional/Educational Assistant in a focus program setting just outside of Eden Prairie, close to Burnsville, MN. As a vital part of a team dedicated to inclusion and growth, youll provide essential academic and behavioral support to learners with special needs in a school community that values your skills and compassion.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Two years of college credits from an accredited institution, or
- Associate degree or higher, or
- Passing score on an approved formal assessment (ParaPro, ParaPathways, The Master Teacher), or
- Meeting the competencies outlined in the MDE approved competency grid
- PCA certificate, or willingness to complete this free, quick certification (under one hour)
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the academic, behavioral, social, and physical needs of students within the focus program
- Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to ensure student success
- Assist with the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Foster a positive and encouraging classroom environment where every student can thrive
- Adapt to the diverse needs of students, offering targeted support across various tasks and activities
- Help facilitate communication between students, teachers, and families as needed

Compensation for this position ranges from $16.00 to $32.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
