Full-time contract opportunities are available for dedicated professionals ready to provide essential support to students in the Eden Prairie and Burnsville, MN area. Desired Qualifications:
- At least two years of college credits from an accredited institution, or
- An associate degree or higher, or
- A passing score on an approved formal academic assessment (such as ParaPro, ParaPathways, or The Master Teacher), or
- Meeting the competencies listed in the MDE-approved competency grid
- PCA certificate or willingness to obtain one (the course is free and takes less than an hour)
Key Responsibilities:
- Support classroom teachers in delivering individualized instruction to students with special needs
- Promote positive academic, behavioral, and social outcomes for each student
- Assist with classroom management and help implement IEP goals
- Provide one-on-one or small group assistance, ensuring every student feels empowered and engaged
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and caring learning environment
