Key Qualifications:

• Valid Paraprofessional certification required
• Experience or strong interest in supporting students with Autism or related needs
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within diverse teams
• Calm, patient, and compassionate demeanor
• Willingness to engage actively with middle schoolaged students

Role Expectations:

• Provide one-on-one guidance and support for a 6th grade boy throughout the school day, from 9am to 3:30pm
• Assist in adapting classroom activities and assignments as needed to encourage learning and participation
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment, supporting social and emotional growth
• Implement recommendations from educational and support staff to promote the students success
• Monitor progress and communicate achievements or concerns to teachers and team members
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
