Job Description

Step into a vital support role in a K-12 school environment, making a direct impact as an ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) Paraprofessional focused on students with severe-intensity autism support needs. This full-time, contract opportunity is located near Levittown, PA, within Bucks County, and will run through June 12, 2026, in alignment with the academic calendar. Enjoy a regular weekday schedule between 7:30AM and 3:30PM, offering a stable routine to help students achieve success and growth in the classroom.

Desired Qualifications & Experience

  • At least 1+ years of experience as an ABA paraprofessional in a K-12 classroom is required
  • Must currently reside within 35 minutes of Levittown, PA
  • Eligible to work full-time Monday-Friday (37.5 hours/week)
  • Willingness to attend a mandatory orientation week prior to assignment
  • Must meet at least one PA paraprofessional qualification:
    • Two years post-secondary education (48 college credits), or
    • Associate degree or higher, or
    • Completion of a state/local assessment such as CDA or Credential of Competency for Special Education Paraeducators
  • Commitment to obtain state paraprofessional certification within 60 days if not already certified
  • Comfortable supporting students who may display challenging behaviors, including aggression and elopement
  • Reliable transportation and a strong track record of punctuality

Key Responsibilities

  • Support K-12 students with significant and complex needs in both individual and classroom settings
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans and safety protocols in collaboration with classroom teams
  • Document and help track student progress as directed by teachers and behavior specialists
  • Foster a supportive and safe learning environment
  • Participate in required ongoing training and professional development
