Four paraprofessional contractors are needed to join a dedicated academic team for the 2026-2027 school year, working in both one-on-one and classroom-based support roles. Successful candidates will have prior experience in a school setting and demonstrate a commitment to helping high school students thrive. With no additional certifications or higher education requiredjust proof of a high school diplomathis role is ideal for individuals eager to foster a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a school setting
• High school diploma (required); no other certifications necessary
• Ability to engage with students in both one-on-one and classroom situations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Three completed professional references, including one from your most recent manager, are required to move forward in the hiring process

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students, both individually and within classroom groups
• Assist teachers with instructional activities, classroom organization, and student supervision
• Monitor and encourage student participation, ensuring a positive learning atmosphere
• Collaborate with educators and staff to deliver high-quality educational experiences

This contract position runs from September 1, 2026, through June 16, 2027, for a weekly schedule of 32.5 hours, 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
