Job Description

2026-2027 School Year Paraprofessional (School-Based)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to support students in a school setting. This role involves working 1:1 and in small groups with students who have diverse learning needs, including behavioral support needs and learning disabilities. Youll play a key role in helping students succeed both academically and socially.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students
  • Assist the teacher with classroom activities and lesson implementation
  • Support students with behavior management and daily routines
  • Help implement IEP goals and accommodations
  • Encourage positive social interactions and engagement
  • Collect and document student progress as needed

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or passing score on parapro exam required 
  • Experience working with children or individuals with special needs is a plus
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Patient, reliable, and proactive attitude
