2026-2027 School Year Paraprofessional (School-Based)
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to support students in a school setting. This role involves working 1:1 and in small groups with students who have diverse learning needs, including behavioral support needs and learning disabilities. Youll play a key role in helping students succeed both academically and socially.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students
- Assist the teacher with classroom activities and lesson implementation
- Support students with behavior management and daily routines
- Help implement IEP goals and accommodations
- Encourage positive social interactions and engagement
- Collect and document student progress as needed
Qualifications:
- Associates degree or passing score on parapro exam required
- Experience working with children or individuals with special needs is a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Patient, reliable, and proactive attitude
