Job Description

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience working as a paraprofessional or in an educational support role
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and staff
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Patience, empathy, and dedication to student success
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree or higher preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in planning and implementing instructional activities
  • Support students individually and in small groups to reinforce learning concepts
  • Help with classroom management and behavior guidance
  • Supervise students during classroom activities, lunch, recess, and transitions
  • Modify educational materials to accommodate diverse learning needs
  • Document student progress and communicate observations as needed
  • Provide a caring presence that encourages student engagement and confidence
