Job Description

Two full-time opportunities are available, each set at 35 hours a week with regular school hours and a dedicated unpaid lunch break.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Illinois Paraprofessional License required
  • Experience supporting K-5th grade students in an inclusion setting is preferred
  • Confidence in assisting with toileting needs if required
  • Flexibility to work with students of varying ages and abilities
  • Must pass a comprehensive background check with no hits on record
  • Reliable commute to the school location

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work onsite in an elementary school setting providing direct classroom support
  • Collaborate closely with teachers to adapt and enrich lesson materials for student success
  • Offer personalized assistance, supporting academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth
  • Ensure the safety, dignity, and independence of each child, including providing toileting support when needed
  • Foster a positive, respectful atmosphere where every student is encouraged to participate fully
