Support student lunch and recess times with a part-time role designed for those seeking a flexible, midday schedule. This position involves assisting during lunch periods to help create a safe and orderly environment for students. Location: Northbrook, IL
Position Type: Contract, On-site
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 11:15 AM to 1:15 PM (2 hours/day, 10 hours/week)
Duration: Immediate start through June 8, 2026

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor student lunch and recess to ensure safety and appropriate behavior
- Assist students with any lunchroom needs and help maintain a clean eating environment
- Support school staff in supervising children during unstructured times
- Foster a positive and engaging atmosphere for all students during lunch periods
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Reliable and punctual with the ability to commit to the designated hours
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with students
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional or lunch aide preferred but not mandatory
