Job Description
Support is needed in elementary schools near Des Plaines and Northbrook, IL, for paraprofessionals and lunch aides to assist during the school day. These part-time contract roles provide valuable assistance during lunch and recess hours, helping to create a safe and supportive environment for students.
Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers by supporting students in elementary school settings
- Provide supervision and support to students during lunch and recess periods
- Ensure student safety and positive behavior during assigned hours
- Support school staff with various tasks to facilitate smooth operations during lunch and recess
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working in educational settings preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to engage positively with children and follow school guidelines
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible for assigned shifts
