Key Qualifications:

• Experience as a paraprofessional, preferably in school or related environments
• Familiarity with ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) principles and strategies
• Ability to work well with elementary-aged students, adapting to their needs and learning styles
• Strong communication skills, both with children and classroom staff
• Patience, reliability, and a passion for helping students achieve success
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in a related field is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students with behavioral or developmental needs within the classroom
• Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and ABA interventions
• Foster student engagement, participation, and independence through positive reinforcement techniques
• Support a safe and nurturing learning environment for all students
• Record and report on student progress and behaviors as directed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary school team to develop and carry out individualized student plans
