Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Previous experience working with students in a school or educational setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and students
• Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree or relevant certification a plus
• Ability to follow directions and adapt quickly to changing situations
• Passion for supporting childrens learning and well-being

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in classroom activities, supporting both group and individual instruction
• Provide additional guidance and encouragement to students with varying needs
• Help create a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom atmosphere
• Prepare instructional materials and organize learning resources as directed by the teacher
• Supervise students during non-classroom activities, such as lunch, recess, or field trips
• Support student behavior intervention plans and document progress as needed
• Foster meaningful relationships with students and encourage positive social interactions
