Support student learning in an engaging educational environment as a Paraprofessional near Danville, CA. Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience working as a paraprofessional or in a school support role is highly valued
- Completion of at least 48 college credits or an associates degree (or ability to meet district paraprofessional requirements)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, students, and families
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Patience, adaptability, and a genuine interest in fostering student growth
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and support individualized education plans (IEPs) as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers with lesson preparation, instructional assistance, and classroom management
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, including those with special needs
- Foster student participation, engagement, and independence throughout the school day
- Support students with assignments, activities, and transitions between classes
- Implement behavior management strategies in alignment with educator and school guidelines
- Monitor student progress and report observations to teaching staff
- Help set up learning materials and maintain a safe, supportive environment

Compensation for this position ranges from $21.00 to $36.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
