Support student learning in an engaging educational environment as a Paraprofessional near Danville, CA. Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience working as a paraprofessional or in a school support role is highly valued
• Completion of at least 48 college credits or an associates degree (or ability to meet district paraprofessional requirements)
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, students, and families
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Patience, adaptability, and a genuine interest in fostering student growth
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and support individualized education plans (IEPs) as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers with lesson preparation, instructional assistance, and classroom management
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, including those with special needs
• Foster student participation, engagement, and independence throughout the school day
• Support students with assignments, activities, and transitions between classes
• Implement behavior management strategies in alignment with educator and school guidelines
• Monitor student progress and report observations to teaching staff
• Help set up learning materials and maintain a safe, supportive environment
