Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active II or III Educational Technician certificate is required
• Previous experience as a Paraprofessional in a K-5 setting preferred
• Patience, compassion, and strong communication skills
• Ability to implement and reinforce life skill-based curriculum
• Creative problem-solving and adaptability when responding to student needs
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students, providing academic and behavioral support
• Help guide students through life skills activities, reinforcing lessons that promote independence
• Assist teachers in preparing classroom materials and adapting resources to meet diverse learning needs
• Document student progress and communicate updates effectively
• Model positive behaviors and encourage student engagement
• Maintain a safe, supportive classroom environment
