Job Description

Make a difference working as an Educational Technician supporting K-5 students with a life skill-based curriculum in an engaging school community. This contract role offers the opportunity to empower students in their educational journey and collaborate closely with dedicated educators. Assignments run from August 2026 through June 2027, providing a steady, full school-year commitment.

What Youll Need:

  • Valid Educational Technician II or III certificate (must be current)
  • Experience working with K-5 learners in a classroom or support role preferred
  • Familiarity with life skill-based instruction and individualized support strategies
  • Compassion, patience, and a collaborative spirit in working with children and colleagues
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting classroom teachers with instructional support and daily routines
  • Providing one-on-one or small group assistance for students needing extra help
  • Supporting the implementation of life skill-based activities and learning modules
  • Helping monitor student progress and maintaining accurate documentation
  • Fostering a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
  • Collaborating with teachers and related service providers to enrich student experiences
