Job Description

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current TX Paraprofessional License required
  • Prior experience working with young children, specifically in educational or care settings
  • Familiarity with supporting students in self-contained classrooms
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, teachers, and families
  • Ability to adapt quickly, maintain patience, and exhibit creativity in engaging young learners
  • Organized, reliable, and dedicated to positively impacting early childhood education

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist lead teachers in daily classroom activities and lesson implementation
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students to encourage participation and learning
  • Help with supervision, safety, and the general well-being of all children in the classroom
  • Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate environment
  • Communicate effectively with team members to address students needs and support classroom goals
  • Support with classroom organization, preparation of learning materials, and record-keeping
