Job Overview
We are seeking caring, dependable, and motivated Paraprofessionals (Paraeducators) to join a school-based team in Penacook, NH for the 20262027 school year. Multiple openings are available across elementary, middle, and high school settings, with the greatest current need at the elementary level.
Paraprofessionals provide valuable support to students and teachers by assisting with academic instruction, classroom management, social-emotional development, and daily school activities.
This position is ideal for candidates interested in education, special education, behavioral support, child development, or student services.
Key Responsibilities
Support teachers in delivering classroom instruction and student services
Provide one-on-one and small-group academic assistance
Assist students with classroom assignments and learning activities
Reinforce positive behavior and classroom expectations
Support students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs
Monitor student progress and communicate with instructional staff
Assist with transitions, supervision, and daily routines

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience working with children or adolescents preferred
Experience in education, special education, childcare, tutoring, or behavioral support is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
