This part-time, contract opportunity positions you as a valued instructional assistant, aiding teachers and fostering a nurturing environment for children ages 3 to 5 with mild to moderate disabilities. Qualifications & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• At least one year of experience working with children under the age of 11
• Background in classroom, preschool, or childcare settings strongly preferred
• Patience, adaptability, and a passion for helping young learners of all abilities
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers with implementing individualized and group instructional activities
• Support students during classroom routines, transitions, and activities, promoting active engagement
• Provide encouragement, positive reinforcement, and behavior support as needed
• Foster an inclusive and safe classroom environment
• Collaborate with teachers and fellow assistants to address student needs and document progress
