Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Experience as a Paraprofessional in a school setting is highly valued
• Familiarity with life skills curriculum and support strategies
• Ability to maintain patience, flexibility, and empathy
• Strong communication and collaborative skills when working with teachers, students, and families
• Commitment to fostering a safe and respectful classroom atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students with activities of daily living, reinforcing life skills and classroom lessons
• Work closely with lead teachers to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Help maintain an organized, supportive, and engaging classroom environment
• Provide one-on-one or small group support as needed
• Track and report on student progress and respond to their evolving needs
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development
