Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting is highly valued
• Proven ability to support students with behavioral challenges
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
• Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic classroom environments
• Comfortable working independently while taking direction from education professionals
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Current paraprofessional certification (or eligibility) preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, individualized support to a student with behavioral needs throughout the school day
• Assist in implementing behavioral interventions and modifications as directed
• Collaborate with the educational team to monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed
• Help facilitate academic tasks, participation, and social interaction
• Maintain accurate documentation of incidents and progress
• Foster a supportive, respectful, and inclusive learning atmosphere
