Job Description
Support roles are available for lunch and recess supervision at an elementary school in Chicago, IL. These positions are part-time contracts designed for high school graduates seeking work during school hours. Successful candidates will assist in maintaining a safe and positive environment for students during lunch and recess periods.
Location:
- Chicago, IL (Near Northbrook)
Position Details:
- Lunch Aide (3 positions)
- Hours: 2 hours per day, 10 hours per week
- Contract duration: Current School Year (CSY)
Responsibilities:
- Supervise students during lunch and recess to ensure safety and proper behavior
- Assist with managing student activities and supporting staff needs during assigned hours
- Communicate effectively with staff and students to maintain a positive environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a school or child supervision role preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to engage with children, promote positive behavior, and follow school policies
