A full-time paraprofessional opportunity is available to support students in an elementary to high school caseload near Northbrook, IL. This position offers both full-time and substitute roles, designed for those with a strong commitment to fostering student success across diverse grade levels. The role is contract-based for the current school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers in delivering instructional content and managing the learning environment.
- Support students with special needs, ensuring their access to educational opportunities.
- Collaborate with educational staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide direct support to students in both group settings and one-on-one interactions.
Qualifications:
- Possession of an IEIN para certification issued by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) is required.
- Prior experience as a paraprofessional is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with students and staff from elementary through high school levels.
