Qualifications & Experience:

  • Prior experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, understanding, and a genuine passion for supporting students with behavioral needs
  • Ability to implement behavioral plans and collaborate with educators and support staff
  • Dependable, flexible, and committed to student growth
  • Must meet any required state or district paraprofessional credentials

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one behavioral and academic support to the assigned student
  • Assist in implementing Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and school staff to monitor student progress
  • Encourage positive behaviors and coping strategies in a supportive manner
  • Maintain a safe and engaging classroom environment
  • Document and report on daily student activities and progress
