Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a full-time elementary paraprofessional, focusing on 1:1 support for a student in need of both behavioral and academic assistance. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Providing dedicated 1:1 support to a student within an elementary classroom setting.
• Implementing behavioral strategies and personalized interventions to encourage positive student engagement.
• Assisting with academic instruction, adapting activities to meet the student's individual needs.
• Collaborating with classroom teachers and educational specialists to foster a supportive and inclusive environment.
• Maintaining clear documentation on student progress and behavioral milestones.
• Contributing to a team approach in nurturing the academic and social development of your assigned student.

Ideal candidates bring:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional, particularly in a school environment.
• Proven ability to work with elementary-age students, especially those requiring behavioral and academic support.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a caring and flexible mindset.
• Familiarity with implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) is a plus.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate students.
• High school diploma or equivalent (additional relevant certifications are advantageous).
