Make a difference as a Full Time Elementary Paraprofessional supporting students in a dynamic educational setting near Carlsbad, CA. In this contract role, you will work one-on-one with an elementary student, providing essential academic and behavioral guidance to foster their growth and success.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a school paraprofessional or similar support role
- Strong ability to provide 1:1 assistance to students
- Knowledge of behavioral strategies and academic support techniques
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Patience, adaptability, and a positive, encouraging attitude
- Previous work with elementary-aged children preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one support to an assigned elementary student throughout the school day
- Assist with classroom activities, assignments, and individualized lesson plans
- Implement behavioral interventions as directed by classroom teachers and specialists
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to educational staff
- Foster a nurturing, structured environment that helps the student thrive academically and socially
- Support teachers with classroom management and organization
- Help facilitate student participation in activities and build independence
