Job Description

Several exciting positions are available, including full-time openings at the elementary level and part-time roles in specialized classrooms. There are also multiple long-term guest paraprofessional assignments, typically ranging from 10 to 12 weeks. Qualifications:

  • Experience working with school-aged children or in an educational setting is preferred
  • A minimum of 60 college credits is required; alternatively, candidates without 60 credits must secure or be willing to obtain a Paraprofessional Certificate (you can begin the role while your certification is pending if offered a position)
  • Adaptability, creativity, and a caring attitude
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide classroom support under the direction of a certified teacher
  • Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) as needed
  • Support students academic and behavioral development
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
  • Contribute to smooth daily classroom operations and other duties as assigned
