Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Paraprofessional credential or certification recognized in Massachusetts
- Experience or strong interest in supporting students at the middle school level
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, teachers, and staff
- Adaptability to meet the varying needs of individuals and groups
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom and one-on-one assistance to students with diverse learning needs
- Help implement lesson plans and adapt activities as directed by the lead teacher
- Offer encouragement, redirection, and positive reinforcement to students
- Assist with small group instruction and academic interventions
- Support students with personal care or behavioral needs when required
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging learning space
- Document and report on student progress and participation
