Job Description
This full-time paraprofessional position supports students with moderate to severe behavioral, emotional, and special education needs, including those with medical requirements. The role involves working one-on-one or in group settings to provide essential assistance and support throughout the school day. The position is onsite, Monday through Friday, totaling 31.25 hours per week for the 2025-2026 school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist students with diverse behavioral and emotional challenges as well as special education needs
- Provide 1:1 or group support tailored to individual student requirements
- Support students with medical needs safely and effectively
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to implement educational and behavioral plans
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional in an educational setting
- Ability to work effectively with students who have moderate to severe disabilities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
