Full-Time School-based Paraprofessional Opportunity in Burnsville, Minnesota

Sunbelt Staffing is partnering with a supportive school district to hire Paraprofessionals and Educational Assistants for the 2026-2027 school year. Multiple openings are available across elementary, middle, high school, and early childhood special education settings.

Position Details

  • Full-time, on-site position
  • 2026-2027 school year (August 2026 - June 2027)
  • 6.5 hours per day
  • Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE)
  • Provide academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support to students
  • Assist teachers with classroom instruction and daily classroom activities
  • Support students with individualized learning and developmental needs
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and support staff to promote student success

Qualifications

  • Candidates must meet one of the following requirements:
  • Two years of college credits from an accredited institution, OR
  • Associate degree or higher, OR
  • Passing score on an approved academic assessment (ParaPro, ParaPathways, The Master Teacher), or meet state-approved competency requirements

Additional Requirements:

  • PCA Certificate (or willingness to obtain; free and completed in less than one hour)
  • Minimum of 1 year of professional experience working with school-aged children
  • Previous school-based paraprofessional experience preferred
