Sunbelt Staffing is hiring 3 Paraeducators to join a supportive school district near Mount Vernon, WA! If you're passionate about helping students build confidence, develop independence, and succeed in the classroom, this is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
We have both full-time and part-time opportunities available, with the possibility of continuing into the next school year.
Position Details
Dates: ASAP June 17, 2027
Schedule: 2 positions at 31.25 hours/week (6.25 hours/day) and 1 part-time position at 3 hours/day
What You'll Be Doing
-Middle School 1:1 Paraeducator, Full Time
Provide dedicated 1:1 support to an 11-year-old student with autism.
Help the student continue developing independence and successfully navigating general education settings.
Provide prompting, redirection, and reinforcement of learned skills throughout the school day.
Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support academic, social, and behavioral growth.
-Elementary School Part-Time Paraeducator
Support two elementary students
Assist the special education teacher with classroom instruction and individualized student support.
Help implement behavioral intervention plans and reinforce positive classroom behaviors.
Create a welcoming, structured environment where students can thrive.
Qualifications
Must meet Washington State's minimum employment requirements for paraeducators.
Previous experience working with students with autism or special education needs is strongly preferred.
Experience providing 1:1 student support or implementing behavioral plans is a plus.
Training in isolation or restraint procedures is helpful but can be provided if needed.
Strong communication skills, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting students.
