What We're Looking For:

• Active Illinois Paraprofessional license
• Experience working with children in an educational, behavioral health, or special education setting preferred
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and school staff
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students overcome challenges
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliability and the ability to adapt to changing classroom needs

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a student within a RISE classroom
• Assist with academic tasks, classroom activities, and behavior management according to individualized plans
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special educators, and support staff
• Track and document student progress and maintain confidentiality
• Implement classroom accommodations as directed by the educational team
• Support the development of social, emotional, and communication skills
