This full-time paraprofessional role supports virtual speech language services across multiple K-12 school sites in West Palm Beach, FL. Working on-site in collaboration with a virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), the paraprofessional facilitates speech sessions via computer technology with students at assigned schools. This position requires a high level of comfort with technology and the ability to work itinerantly at varying school locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate virtual speech therapy sessions for students with assigned SLPs.
• Support students in a range of grade levels, typically from pre-kindergarten through high school.
• Travel between assigned school sites based on caseload requirements.
• Utilize technology effectively to assist with delivering virtual speech services.
• Maintain clear communication with SLPs and school staff regarding student progress.
• Adhere to all fingerprinting and credentialing requirements for school district access.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must meet academic requirements, including 60+ college credits, an associates degree, or passing the ParaPro test.
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred.
• Ability to work full-time (35 hours per week, 7 hours per day).
• Must complete or verify fingerprint clearance through Floridas AHCA Clearinghouse.
• Technologically savvy with strong communication skills.

Assignment Details:

• Location: West Palm Beach, FL (Multiple K-12 schools).
• Contract Type: Contract (school calendar year).
• Expected Duration: ASAP start through 5/29/2026.
• Schedule: On-site only, may require itinerant assignments across several schools.
