Youll engage in a wide variety of assignments, ranging from one-on-one support to classroom aide roles, primarily within elementary schools. Schedules and locations will be shared via an app, allowing you to select shifts that fit your availability.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active substitute or paraprofessional certification required through the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE); candidates in process must have certification completed by start date.
• Prior experience in school settings, particularly with behavioral intervention plans (BIPs) and supporting students with behavior-related needs.
• Ability or willingness to assist with toileting when needed.
• Must be comfortable working both individually with a student and in classroom settings.
• Completion of fingerprinting specific to the district (details provided during onboarding).
• Tech savvy enough to manage daily schedules and shift selection via a mobile app.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support and assistance to students with special education needs.
• Implement strategies outlined in BIPs to support positive student behaviors.
