Support the learning and development of students in an alternative education elementary program by providing instructional assistance within a school setting. This role is designed to help create a positive and effective educational environment tailored to individual student needs.

• Blue Springs, MO

Contract Details:

• Duration: April 6 to May 22
• Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM; Friday, 7:45 AM to 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist instructional staff in delivering educational content tailored to diverse student needs.
• Support students in individual and group settings to enhance learning outcomes.
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and productive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with educators to implement lesson plans and adapt resources as needed.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
• Assist with classroom management and behavior support.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or instructional assistant, preferably in an alternative education setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and staff.
• Patience, adaptability, and a commitment to supporting diverse learners.
• Ability to follow directions and maintain confidentiality.
