Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience working with children, ideally in a school or educational setting
• Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
• Comfortable assisting with classroom management and student engagement
• Flexibility to adapt to different learning styles and needs
• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications or postsecondary coursework in education are a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teachers by implementing instructional plans and reinforcing lessons
• Assist students individually or in small groups, focusing on both academic and social development
• Aid with classroom organization, preparation of teaching materials, and routine administrative tasks
• Provide additional support to students with special education needs or individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with teaching staff and actively participate in team meetings
