Desired Experience & Skills

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar instructional support role preferred

• Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude toward working with diverse learners
• High school diploma or equivalent required; further education or certifications a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support to teachers and work with students in small groups or one-on-one
• Assist with classroom organization, materials preparation, and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Support students with assignments, classroom tasks, and social skills development
• Monitor student progress and report observations to instructors
• Foster an inclusive environment that meets the needs of all learners
• Help implement individualized education plans as directed by special education staff
