Job Description
We are hiring a Behavior Aide to support students in a school setting through targeted behavioral and classroom assistance. This role focuses on helping students with behavioral needs stay on track, build self-regulation skills, and remain engaged throughout the school day.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct behavioral support to students in one-on-one and small group settings
- Implement behavior strategies and intervention plans as directed by the school team
- Assist with transitions, routines, and maintaining a structured environment
- Monitor student behavior and document progress or incidents as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, behavior specialists, and staff to ensure consistent support
Qualifications:
- Experience working with students with behavioral needs or in a school setting preferred
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques or willingness to learn
- Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm in challenging situations
- Willingness to complete district and agency onboarding within one week of joining
- Previous experience in ABA highly preferred
